Research Abstract |
We tried to confirm effects of compounds, which arrest cell cycle though p53-independent pathway, against the malignant transformation of ethylnitrosourea induced glioma by identifying WHO grade and measuring MIB-1 labeling index. Although totally 20 compounds were examined for these term, there was no compound, which showed significant effect comparing with control compound. On the other hand, we achieved analyses for the repellent in glioma cell invasion by using 3-dimensional glioma cell invasion model in collagen gel. The production of repellent was considered to be affected by oxygen supply. Furthermore, the effect of repellent might continue unless physicochemical modulation of circumference environment occurred.
