Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In our study, we developed newly statistical models for a personalized medicine in cancer research. We focused on two kind of statistical approaches: (1) predictive performance approach, and (2) easily interpretative approach. In former approach, we developed the rule ensemble method for survival outcome. Our proposed method and applications were given two kind of awards. In later approach, we developed the adaptive index model and adaptive step function model for survival outcome. Moreover, we wrote textbook about tree based method.
