Research Abstract |
Neuronal differentiation during cortical development is regulated by dynamics of chromatin containing DNA and transcription factors. Here we examined spatiotemporalinteractions between fluorescent-tagged transcription factors and their target sites in living cells using single-molecule imaging techniques. The transcription factor binding to its target sequences showed longer residence time compared to that binding to unrelated sequences in the nucleus.
