Research Abstract

The research shows that a network of learners is the fundamental factor of support for learners in Benkyo cafe. The network is not “strong tie” which learners make up by meeting each other everyday, but “weak tie” from the view of social capital theory. And not only learners but also staffs of Benkyo cafe contribute to build the network.
