Research Abstract |
ZnO nanowires have received considerable attention as building blocks of the optical devices in UV reagion. We have succeeded in growing the catalyst-free and aligned-ZnO nanowires using interference laser irradiation. Aligned-ZnO nanowalls were also synthesized using two-beam interference, and UV lasing from the ZnO nanowall excited by pulsed-laser beam was obtained.
