インドネシアの火山地帯における土壌粘土鉱物分布の解明とその適正施肥技術への応用

Research Abstract

本研究は、インドネシアの畑作地として重要な位置を占めるスマトラ島とジャワ島の火山地帯を対象として、適正な施肥技術の確立を目的として行った。本地域では、気候および地質がスマトラ島北部からジャワ島東部にかけて連続的に変化しており、また各地において標高に伴い気温と降水量が異なるため、多様な土壌粘土鉱物が分布している。適正な施肥技術を確立するためには、窒素、リン、カリウムといった肥料成分の吸着に強く影響する土壌粘土鉱物の分布と気候および地質がその分布に与える影響を明確にすること、研究対象地の土壌と同国内に分布する他の土壌との相違を明らかにすることが肝要である。
平成25年度は、採取したサンプルのうち未測定であったものの分析を行い、また下記に示すこれまでの成果の取りまとめと、国内外での学会発表および論文執筆を行った。１）スマトラ島およびジャワ島における土壌粘土鉱物の分布と、地質および気候条件がその分布に与える影響の解明、２）ジャワ島東部の火山帯の低標高および高標高より採取した非攪乱土壌において、土壌の粘土鉱物組成と物理性が硝酸、リン酸、カリウムの溶脱に与える影響の解明、３）火山の影響の少ないカリマンタン島の土壌およびスマトラ島の泥炭土壌と、スマトラ島およびジャワ島の火山地帯の土壌との、土壌粘土鉱物組成および無機養分状態の相違
