| Research Abstract |
When a hapten specific IgE binds hapten-labeled protein antigen, it acts as adjuvant to induce the carrier protein antigen specific IgE. By stimulation with IgE / antigen immune complex on FcRIα, basophil produces IL-4 and presents antigen to CD4+T cells to induce Th2. Thus, an allergen can diversify Th2 / IgE repertoire by hapten-specific IgE.
