立体映像の長時間曝露が生体に及ぼす影響に関する調査研究

| Research Abstract |
長時間(1時間)の立体映像視認が視機能、体平衡系等、生体に与える影響について調査することで、「眼疲労」や「映像酔い」が生じる機序を明らかにすることを目標とし、安全な立体映像の視聴に関するガイドラインを提言する一助となることを期待して研究を行った。研究計画では、(1) 視機能同時計測システムの開発、(2) 視覚刺激コンテンツの開発、(3) 若年健常者に対する実証研究、(4) 実証実験に関する数理解析・統計解析および(5) HMDを用いた実証研究を並行して行うこととした。ただし、(5)項は計画どおりに進まない時の対応として行う計画であったため、ここでは実施しなかった。その結果、若年者健常者および中年齢者を対象として、立体映像視聴時における右眼の水晶体調節、両眼の輻輳焦点距離および立位重心動揺を計測した。これらの数理解析・統計解析により、以下について示すことができた。
1) 「眼疲労」は水晶体と輻輳調節の乖離、特にそれらの非同期性に起因すること。
2) 「眼疲労」は90秒以上の立体映像視聴により誘発される可能性が高く、「立体映像酔い」はそれより短い時間の視聴で発生する。「立体映像酔い」については1)の非同期性は原因とならない。
3)「立体映像酔い」は視聴開始1～20分後において出現しており、それ以降、順化する過程がある。また、検査時の視覚刺激用の立体映像視聴後(閉眼)においても動揺量の増加は継続した。
4) 立体映像酔いが生じている際の重心動揺を記述する確率微分方程式のポテンシャルの構造はそれほど変化していないが、ノイズの加わり方が異なることを数値解析によって明らかにした。
