Research Abstract |
We demonstrated that ketoconazole exerted anti-inflammatory effects in addition to an anti-fungal effect in human skin keratinocytes. The effects are dependent on activation of aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), which induced Nrf2 and NQO1 leading to inhibition of ROS, IL-8 production, and DNA damage
