Research Abstract

Steridgenic factor-1 plays a key-role for local estrogen synthesis in endometriotic stromal cells. Induction of SF-1 gene in endometrial stromal cells increased expression of StAR mRNA and protein but not other targets of SF-1. These results suggests gene group that regulates estrogen synthesis needs not only SF-1 gene expression but other factors.
