Research Abstract |
Exosomes are small membrane vesicles containing various RNAs. Recent evidence suggests that human cells communicate with each other by exchanging exosomes. We found that endometrial cancer cells transmit gene regulatory small RNAs to endometrial fibroblasts using exosomes as vehicles. The results indicate a novel cell-to-cell communication between cancer cells and stromal cells via exosome transfer.
