| Research Abstract |
Trigeminal stereotactic electrolysis (TSE) was able to induce a disease state that reflected clinical neurotrophic keratitis. Moreover, corneolimbal stem/progenitor cells are significantly reduced after depletion of sensory nerves. The datasuggest a critical role of innervation in maintaining stem cells and/or the stem cell niche.
