Research Abstract |
Recent findings have shown that autophagy regulates immune mechanism in intestinal epithelial cells. The aim of this study is to investigate whether autophagy is involved in regulation of TLR-dependent immune responses in oral epithelium cells. This studyreveals that the autophagy receptor NDP52 degrades TLR signaling molecules and downregulates TLR-mediated signaling.
