Research Abstract |
This study analyzes Gender Regime in Indonesia in case of women’s migrant worker’s household. Concretely, the researcher had insight on gender dynamics related to migrant women’s no guardian men, according to Islamic law, if women go abroad for work alone without any guardian, their body will become a Dosa (Sin) by discussing following two research theme; 1) the relationship between migrant workers, state and religion in association with migrant women’s body representation, 2) discourse against male spouses of migrant women by religious leader and men in urban.
