編著者として『マイノリティ・ムスリムのイスラーム法学』（日本サウディアラビア協会）を出版した。
書評『William R. Roff Studies on Islam and Society in Southeast Asia』が『東南アジア－歴史と文化』40号に掲載された。
口頭発表として、「アフマド・ファターニーのファトワー集―19世紀末から20世紀初めにかけてのマッカと東南アジアの関係―」（日本中東学会第28回年次大会）、“Ahmad al-Fatani’s Fatwa Collection on Modern Problems: Southeast Asian Ulama in the Middle East and Transition of Fiqh Methodology in the late 19th Century”（2nd Workshop on the Comparative Study of Southeast Asian Kitabs、上智大学）“The Transition of Islamic Learning Centre and Official Fatwas in Southeast Asian Muslim Countries”（International Conference on Centres of learning and changes in Muslim societies、オックスフォード大学）等を行った。
