Research Abstract |
The study suggested that the stringency of internal communication rules under normal circumstances negatively affects internal communication when there is “bad news” or issues that cause difficulties in the functioning of the organization. Furthermore, although it is generally believed that subordinates under a supervisor who makes considerations for them are likely to proactively make recommendations for overcoming the situation, the study indicated that they are not necessarily encouraged to do so depending on the viewpoint shared within the organization.
