Research Abstract |
Anti-biofilm effects of azithromycin (AZM) on Porphyromonas gingivaliswere investigated using modified Robbins device. We examined protein expressions of AZM-treated/non-treated Porphyromonas gingivalis and found that protein expressions of sub-MIC AZM treated planktonic and biofilm-detached cells were different at 50 and 110 kDa. Proteins were turned out to be glutamate dehydrogenase, hemagglutinin protein and RagA protein.
