Research Abstract

KLF4 is expressed in kidney glomerular epithelial cells (podocytes), and its expression is decreased in proteinuric states. Transient restoration of decreased podocyte KLF4 by transgenic expression or gene transfer inducedepithelial phenotype of podocytes
