Keywords | Ionic liquid / Ferroelectric / Crystal orientation |
Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Increase of β phase PVDF in films were achieved by two methods: (1) Interfacial preparation of PVDF/pDDA alloys was successfully obtained. FT-IR spectra were used to confirm the crysatallization of PVDF with different ratio of PVDF/PDDA. It shows the decrease of the concentration of PVDF in the polymer monolayer alloys caused the reduction of PVDF crystallites. (2) Rich β phase improved the device properties by large remanent polarization values. The effect of ionic liquids on the PVDF crystal orientation at the PVDF polymer were investigated.Optimization on ferroelectric crystal content and crystal orientation was confirmed with the addition of IL which also contributed to the vertical phase separation structures in the polymer films.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
According reasearch plan, preparation of polymer alloy monolayers with tunable ferroelectric polymer contents and realization of monolayer transfer to substrates and electrodes should be achieved by the 2023 fiscal year.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
(1) Realization of arbitrarily changeable layer structure in the multilayered nanosheets with controllable physical wall thickness for ferroelectric domain (First half of FY2024) (2) Crystallization analysis and crystal size characterization (Second half of FY2024)
|
Causes of Carryover |
The reason for incurring amount to be used next fiscal year is that the process for obtaining the premium conditions were shortened. Conference participation times were not as many as planned. In the following fiscal year, the incurring funding (228,269JPY) for FYF2024 will be added to miscellaneous cost related to research activities such as English paper polishing. The other part will have no change as planned in the funding application form.
