本研究は、Array tomography法とFIB-SEM tomography法を組み合わせた新たな3Dイメージング法を用いて、骨およびコラーゲン線維束関連異種細胞間(骨細胞-骨芽細胞-歯根膜細胞-セメント芽細胞-セメント細胞)における接着装置・結合の同定および骨・歯周靭帯形成における異種細胞間細胞性ネットワークの機能形態学的特徴を明らかにすることを目的とする。本年度はこれまでの予備実験の結果に基づき、試料の調整・観察条件の再設定、データの解析の改良を行った。

本年度はこれまでの予備実験の結果に基づき、試料の調整・観察条件の再設定、データの解析の改良を行った。異種細胞群全体の解析には数千枚の電子顕微鏡切片が必要で、試料作成、データ収集、解析の効率化が思うように進まず、難渋している。

現在の遅れを取り戻すべく、試料作成・データ収集・解析の効率化を図っている。特に、連続切片作成やワークステーションのバージョンアップおよびそれを用いた解析に注力している。

既存のサンプルや試薬、ワークステーションを使用して解析したため、次年度使用額に差が生じた。
