| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Through this KAKEN project, I published one sole-authored book, four co-authored books, and eight academic papers, generating multifaceted research outcomes. In the first half of the research, I conducted a detailed examination of the formation process of development studies in China. As a result of this work, my sole-authored book "Introduction to Chinese Development Studies" received the 28th Okita Award for International Development Studies. In the latter half of the project, I conducted comparative analysis of the formation processes of development studies in Japan, China, and South Korea. To analyze the differences between Japanese and Chinese development studies with greater precision, I implemented systematic literature analysis of academic journals. Furthermore, as a methodological approach for international development research that takes into account researchers' positionality, I led collaborative research employing auto-ethnographic methods with international students.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
