| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Between 2020 and 2022, three main tracks have been followed: preparation of the CLIJAF corpus for further analysis; phonetic annotation of CLIJAF corpus and error typology; preparation for pilot protocol assessment tasks. First, the preparation of the CLIJAF corpus to be used to parse errors and ultimately testing the automatic assessment system (giving access to all Kaken team members to the corpus interface, identifying mistakes found in the corpus, etc.) was conducted: preparation of a static version of the annotated corpus (non-phonetic) for joint work (with M. Le Coz). Second, the phonetic annotation of the CLIJAF corpus was completed (preparation of an annotation interface to check the reliability of the first phonetic annotations, with M. Le Coz), with a subset of annotations by three annotators (annotation of a significant sample (100 items) by two extra annotators, with L. Fontan). Phonetic errors were then categorized (with C. Barcat and M. Le Coz). Third, some pretesting of the material was conducted in collaboration with the Toulouse partner team (Dr Fontan and IRIT researchers) to identify existing procedures for automatic speech assessment.
