Outline of Annual Research Achievements

排熱フィードバックを模擬可能な複数の都市気候モデルによるマルチモデルアンサンブル実験に向け、その準備段階として二つの課題に取り組み、以下の成果を得た。
(1)都市気候モデルのオフライン比較検証
研究代表者らにより東京代々木地区で整備済みであった実測ベースの排出源別排熱量や高解像度電力実需要量等の検証データを用いモデルの検証を行い、以下の成果を得た。世界標準の研究用領域気象モデルであるWRFに実装済みの2つの都市気候モデル(CM-BEM、SLUCM-BEM)をWRFから切り離し、それらを代々木上空の気象観測データからなる境界条件下で駆動する事で、上空気象予測の誤差を排除したオフライン計算を実行した。その結果から、都市の表面熱収支と電力消費量に加え、世界で初めて実測ベースの建物排熱量も対象とし、2つの都市気候モデルによるそれら実測値の再現性を比較検証した。結果として二つの都市気候モデルは、物理モデルとしての精緻度の差異を反映しやや異なる再現性を示したものの、概ね実測値を合理的に再現可能であった。
(2)マルチモデルアンサンブル実験の準備
研究に用いる複数の都市気候モデルの入力パラメータを精査し、モデル間でのパラメータの対応を整理し、次年度以降の東京圏を対象とした広域数値実験用の入力パラメータデータセットを整備した。加えて、WRFの放射・雲微物理等のサブ物理モデル群と都市気候モデルとの組合せによるマルチモデルアンサンブルメンバーについて検討し、その基本構成を確定させた。

令和5年度の交付申請書に記載した研究実施計画に沿って、概ね計画通りの進捗を得ることが出来た。よって、研究目的の達成に向け進捗は現時点で順調と評価した。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

現時点で研究遂行上の大きな問題点はなく、研究計画に変更の必要性も生じていないため、研究代表者・分担者間で緊密に連携を図りながら、それぞれの分担課題に予定通り取り組んでいく方針である。
