| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
渡日前にルワンダ共和国のNb-Ta鉱床を含む地域の現地地質調査を予察的に行い、代表的な試料を日本へ持参し、岩石薄片作成、偏光顕微鏡観察、鉱物同定、SEM-EDSを用いて鉱物の化学組成を測定した。2月から3月に約1か月間、中央アフリカ大陸のルワンダ共和国のKaragwe-Ankole Beltを中心に、ニオブ（Nb）・タンタル（Ta）・錫クリティカルメタルの鉱床を含む花崗岩をターゲットにし、現地で車をチャーターしながら、現地地質調査・サンプリングを行った。新しく採取した試料の岩石薄片作成、偏光顕微鏡観察、鉱物同定、SEM-EDSを用いて鉱物の化学組成を測定した。さらに、新潟大学所有のXRF（主要元素）による全岩化学組成分析を行った。得られた結果は日本地球惑星科学連合大会に投稿し、発表する予定である。

初年度の計画通り、すでに所有していた試料の予察的な分析を行い、さらに中央アフリカ大陸のルワンダ共和国の現地地質調査・サンプリングを行った。代表的な試料について、基礎的な化学分析を行い、その成果を2つの国際学会で発表し、おおむね順調に進展している。
