超高速気体電子回折法および気体X線回折法による分子構造の決定

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

1.TOF型レーザーアシステッド電子回折装置を用いてXe原子を試料とした弾性散乱信号の観測に成功した。散乱電子のエネルギー幅の入射電子線強度依存性を測定し、約0.3 eVのエネルギー分解能が達成されていることが確認された。散乱電子の信号強度から、本装置の信号検出効率は従来の装置から40倍程度向上したことが確認された。また、レーザーアシステッド電子衝撃イオン化観測装置を用いて、超短パルス電子線の生成に成功した。

2.平成25年度のX線回折計測実験によって明らかとなった、試料以外に起因する散乱X線を減少させるために開発したビームストッパーの性能評価を行った。SPring-8の放射光を用いて、気相試料以外に起因する散乱X線の信号を計測したところ、平成25年度と比較して2桁以上の信号強度の改善が観測された。そこで気相四塩化炭素の散乱X線信号の検出を試み、塩素―塩素に起因する干渉成分の観測に成功した。

3.前年度に同定した、拡張された時間依存多配置波動関数理論における核波動関数の運動方程式に現れるポテンシャル関数を1次元水素分子モデルの基底状態波動関数を使って計算した。計算されたポテンシャル曲線は、核波束の重心位置付近における分子の全エネルギー近傍に位置する断熱ポテンシャルを良く再現していることが分かった。したがって、時間に依存した分子波動関数を使ったポテンシャルエネルギーの計算を行うことによって、核波束の確率振幅の大きな核間距離、分子の全エネルギー近傍における時間に依存したポテンシャルエネルギー、光の場の中での分子の電子遷移エネルギーを定量化できることが期待される。
