Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on the prefecture-specific data, we regressed the relation between daily maximum temperature and mortality using regression spline, and found that the optimum temperature can be estimated with 84th percentile of daily maximum temperature. Further, by our newly developed short-term heat acclimated program, which consisted in 10days, 2 hours sitting per days in 45℃ room, can be effective to decrease minute ventilation during constant work load exercise and to decrease warm sensation in hot environment (35℃ to 45 ℃).
