Research Abstract

１）四国中央部別子地域の瀬場谷変斑れい岩体，瀬場エクロジャイト質塩基性片岩，東平変斑れい岩体中のエクロジャイトと関連高圧変成岩の地質調査と岩石試料採取を行った．
２）瀬場谷変斑れい岩体，瀬場エクロジャイト質塩基性片岩，東平変斑れい岩体，五良津東部岩体，徳島県眉山のざくろ石藍閃石片岩およびざくろ石－エジリンオージャイト片岩の詳細Ｐ－Ｔ経路の解析を行った．とくに，眉山のざくろ石藍閃石片岩，別子の瀬場泥質片岩についてはTHERMOCALCおよびシュードセクション解析を併用して精度の高い変成P-T経路（昇温，ピーク，降温経路）の解析を行った．また，三波川変成岩との比較検討のためキルギス・マクバルおよびモンゴル・レイク帯の高圧変成岩のP-T経路の解析を行った．
３）上記変成岩類のRb-Sr, Sm-Nd法，微小領域U-Pb法，FT法による年代測定を実施し，結果の出たものについてはその地質学的意義を議論した．
４）白亜系四万十帯砕屑岩（砂岩・泥岩）と三波川変成岩（毛原層，鞆淵ユニット，飯盛ユニット）の砕屑岩起源の結晶片岩（砂質片岩，泥質片岩）の全岩化学組成の分析を行い，両者の比較を行った．四万十帯の堆積岩が三波川変成岩の原岩である可能性が高まった．
５）研究成果を日本地球惑星連合大会（5月：千葉），地学団体研究会（8月：松江），鉱物科学会（9月：つくば）また，9月にイタリアで開催されるInternational Eclogite Conference（9月：イタリア）において発表した．さらに，三波川エクロジャイトの変成作用，モンゴルの高圧変成岩の地質年代とサブダクション－コリジョン・テクトニクスに関する論文を印刷公表した．眉山のざくろ石藍閃石片岩のシュードセクション解析についての論文原稿を準備し，近日中に投稿する予定である．

Reason

平成25年度は外国人の非常勤研究員を1年間フルに雇用することができ，また，研究協力者（大学院生）の研究成果も加わり，24年度の研究がやや遅れたものを取り戻すことができた．教室所蔵のLA-ICP-MSは再び故障してジルコンのU-Pb年代測定ができなくなったが，EPMAを用いた年代測定によりデータを得ること，また他の手法による年代測定に方針転換した．
これまでの研究成果について，5件の国際会議での発表をはじめ，国内学会で多数の講演を行った．また，16編の論文を印刷公表した（うち10編は国際誌に掲載）．

Strategy for Future Research Activity

平成25年度終了時点で，当初の研究目的・計画をおおむね達成してきているので，研究計画に基づいて研究を遂行する．
四国中央部（別子地域），東部（高越及び眉山地域）のエクロジャイト相変成岩地質調査を研究協力者とともに進めるとともに，それらの岩石学的研究を行う．
計画にある地質年代測定を実施する（LA-ICP-MSによるU-Pb年代測定は，EPMAによる方法と他機関の装置を使用して行う）．
これまでの研究成果をとりまとめ，日本地球惑星連合大会（横浜），鉱物科学会（熊本）等で学会発表を行う．また，研究成果を学術誌に公表することを積極的に進める．
研究成果を総括するとともに，継続的な研究課題を検討し，新たな研究プロジェクトの申請を行う．

Expenditure Plans for the Next FY Research Funding

平成25年度は当初の研究目的・計画に従ってほぼ順調に研究が進行したが，一昨年度の非常勤研究員の雇用経費の繰り越し金の一部がさらに次年度使用に繰り越しとなった．また，LA-ICP-MS分析装置の故障により，この装置によるU-Pb年代測定に必要な経費の一部が未使用となった．
当初計画では，平成26年度は非常勤研究員の雇用を9月としていたが，3月延長し12月として，研究期間終了時まで研究成果の取りまとめや論文化にあたらせる．
LA-ICP-MSによる年代測定はEPMAを使用する方法に変更するとともに，他機関の装置を使用して行うこととした．また，LA-ICP-MS年代測定の補完手段として，K-Ar (40Ar/39Ar)年代測定数をを当初計画より増やすこととする．尚，K-Ar (40Ar/39Ar)年代測定は民間の年代測定企業に外注する．
