強相関電子状態と電子共鳴状態の基礎理論の開発と複雑な量子状態への応用

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究課題では、強相関電子状態や電子共鳴状態を精密に取り扱うことのできる基礎理論の開発を行い、複雑な電子状態が本質である化学現象に応用することを目的としている。
H27年度は、実施計画で挙げた研究課題について下記の研究成果を得た。H26年度の未使用額が生じた要因であった大規模な理論計算と解析を実施し、国際シンポジウムにおいて招待講演を行った。
(1)強相関電子状態の理論開発では、金クラスターのCO酸化反応についてDFT法の汎関数に関するベンチマークを行い、種々の微粒子触媒の反応メカニズムの解明を行った。金・パラジウム合金微粒子触媒によるウルマンカップリング反応のメカニズムや逆ハロゲン効果、金微粒子触媒によるフェニルボロン酸の反応サイクル、FeやFe-OをドープしたグラフェンおよびBNシートにおけるメタン活性化のメカニズムを明らかにした。(2)大規模系多電子励起状態の理論開発では、大規模系に適用できる高圧下の励起状態理論(PCM XP SAC-CI法)を開発し、高圧下におけるフランの特異的な励起状態の変化について明らかにした。また、実験と協力し、イミダゾールおよびベンズイミダゾール誘導体の励起状態の溶媒効果を解明した。(3)電子共鳴状態の理論開発では、様々な形状の分子に適用できる複素吸収ポテンシャルの開発に成功した。DNAおよびRNA核酸塩基やその誘導体の電子共鳴状態に適用し、最低エネルギーの状態だけでなく、高いエネルギー領域の電子共鳴状態を計算することに成功した。(4)光機能分子の量子過程の研究では、クマリンをドナーとするD-π-A型色素増感太陽電池の色素についてπスペーサーの種類や共役長・平面性と電荷移動距離の相関について系統的に検討した。(5)電子励起化学反応の精密解析では、密度を基盤とした電荷移動励起の化学指標を励起状態における水素移動反応などに適用し、その有用性を示した。
