Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Drawing on ethnographic research on 1.5-generation Filipinos who immigrated during their childhood years to different countries; France, Italy, Japan, Canada, the US, and Australia, this research project focused on their migratory experiences. More particularly, it unraveled different challenges and constraints they have faced in the Philippines as well as in respective countries, and delineated and compared how they responded to the challenges and constraints by (re)constructing their relatedness and identities.
