Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed a fast and stable method to compute gas-liquid-solid multiphase simulation on GPU cluster environment. We also implemented distributed photorealistic visualization method based on ray tracing technique with dynamic load balancing capability. Heat transfer is also considered to realize multiphase thermal flow simulation. To run large scale numerical simulation under small size GPU cluster, a GPU computation technique using data on CPU memory with data transfer on demand is implemented. Data communication time is almost completely hidden by transferring data while running GPU kernel code.
