Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Fundamental studies for learning/teaching-support systems have been investigated. We have tried to realize basic technologies which enable both teachers and students to get lecture recording materials (e.g. movies) on elementary and secondary education schools. We have achieved several results as follows. 1) Elementary school lecture database (corpus) were developed. Lectures were recorded and several information including transcriptions were annotated. 2) Automatic speech recognition techniques were investigated and significant knowledges were obtained. 3) Information retrieval (spoken document retrieval) techniques were investigated and significant knowledges were obtained.
