Outline of Final Research Achievements

The current study observed Eskimos and Pygmy tribes who both practice hunting and gathering lifestyles. Several important aspects typical to those tribes who live closely to nature can be used as guidelines (and could possibly be beneficial) to Japanese children living in our modern society.
“the experience of hunger” “the experience of a very simple lifestyle (with a minimum of possesions),” “life without a set schedule (i.e. wake up at sunrise)” “enduring harsh weather changes (hot and cold)” and “hunting for own food” are some of the habits that cause Eskimo and Pygmy children to be healthy while living in nature. Thus in order for children in Japan to stay healthy, the incorporation of daily recreation in nature is important.
