Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The research achieved following three problem. 1.The research cleared the arrival time to coastal area from earthquake source. It was only one minute. 2. The numerical model was tested in the case of huge tsunami situation which was higher than 10 m. The numerical model was very stable for the drastic physical situation. 3. The target area was extended for whole Toyama-bay. The number of computational cells was more than 26 million with the 5 meter resolution. The simulation was also achieved high speed calculation. The computational time was 1.5 minutes under the situation and the calculation achieved 88% parallel efficiency for the calculation.
