Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The concept of “differance” is fundamental to the philosophy of Jacques Derrida (1930-2004) who established the movement of “deconstruction.” First of all, our analysis focused on the theoretical aspects of this concept, for instance, time and space, being and becoming, idea and reality, in order to clarify its meaning for the deconstruction of the tradition of Western philosophy. Secondarily, we saw that the motif of differance is the center of various problems Derrida treated, language, signification, text, experience, technology, politics and ethics, etc. Finally, these analysis allowed us to totally understand the strong coherence between Derrida’s theory and practice, his thought and action, in front of our contemporary situation after the World War II.
