Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research, we conducted a long-term exhaustive genesis study program on Diderot - D'Alembert's Enyclopedie Paris Edition and compared especially our Dictionary texts with contemporary academic documents. We confirmed finally more than 500 new borrowings texts that had been unrecognized. The Genesis Studies shows identifying implicit sources is the critical factors to the academic close reading of the Encyclopedie.
