The poems written in his young days by Paul Valery seem to be not studied seriously. In this circumstance, we studied <Cahier de Cette> published in 2009 by a French publisher Fata Morgana. This <Cahier de Cette> which contains 28 poems written when he was a junior high school student reveals that he learned especially the poetic of Victor Hugo and Gerard de Nerval.
