| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In the last year of my research project I concentrated my efforts primarily on disseminating the current state of my research and the results and findings thereof by way of academic and public presentations and publications.
In April 2014 I presented a pater entitled "Foretokens and Vestiges of Protracted Social Conflict Situations in the Early 20th Century Turkish Literature" at “LibrAsia: The 4th Asian Literature and Librarianship 2014” in Osaka.
I organized an international symposium entitled “Language and the Human Condition: Social Conflict and Linguistic Behaviour - The European Treatment of ‘Kurds’” at Osaka University on November 2nd 2014. On this symposium I presented a paper entitled “Social Conflict and Linguistic Behaviour: A Re-reading of the Narrative of the Babel Tower” (Original Title: Sozialer Konflikt und Sprachverhalten: Eine Neulekture der Erzaehlung vom Turmbau zu Babel). In April 2015 I published a book entitled Language and the Human Condition: Speech Act and Multilingualism in Conflict Societies. (Original Title: “Sprache und Conditio Humana: Sprachhandlung und Mehrsprachigkeit in Konfliktgesellschaften” (Hrsg.) / “言語と人間性―コンフリクト社会に見る言語行為と多言語” (編)). Bilingual Edition (German and Japanese). MATSUMOTOKOBO. Osaka 2015.
I contributed to this self-edited book a lengthy article entitled “Language and Social Conflict: A Remapping of the Social” (Original Title: “Sprache und Sozialkonflikt: Eine Neukartierung des Sozialen” / 社会的葛藤と言語行為─人間性の再マッピング).
