| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research presents the following results. (1) Providing cross information retrieval technologies for Japanese major digital archives of historical documents: "Mokkan jiten" by Nara national research institute for cultural properties and "Denshi kuzushi-ji jiten" by historiographical institute the university of Tokyo. (2) Proposing scalable user interfaces of character pattern retrieval for variable sizes of touch display. (3) Connecting users/client systems and the digital archives for historical documents coordinately.
