Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study investigates how open innovation, internal research & development (R&D), and internal coordination systems affect the capability of sensing technological opportunities of strategic alliance. We show that open innovation and internal R&D both have a positive effect on the sensing capability. However, the association between internal coordination systems and sensing capability shows inverted U-shaped effect. We also show that some interaction terms among them do not have positive effect on sensing capability.
