Outline of Final Research Achievements |
As with most expert or veteran entrepreneurs in United States and European countries, our empirical study suggests that Japanese experts(remained a full-time founder for 7 years or more) also tend to adopt more an effectual approach, which puts real founding actions above arm-chair meticulous planning, than a rational approach. However, we have found two different results from the previous researches; firstly, the tendency to adopt the effectual approach differs greatly from industry to industry; and secondly serial entrepreneurs, who found two or more companies, tend to adopt the rational approach. These results are somewhat different of some findings of the previous researches. As a result, more close studies of the source of the difference will be necessary for reaching a definite conclusion.
