Outline of Final Research Achievements |
There are many children in care who do not have information such as why they were separated from their parents, why they are in care now,and who gave birth to them, et al. Life story work is an activity designed for these children to connect their past, present and future,in cooperation with a reliable person. I studied methods how to do life story work in Japan. At the same time, there are some donor-conceived children who have fallen into identity crisis after they suddenly came to know the truth of their origin, which was hidden by their parents, when they became adults. I studied methods how to do life story work for them as well.
