Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order for schoolwork to be carried out efficiently, it is essential to adopt views of those concerned with schools, who are the users of school facilities, in school facility design. The collection of opinions about space for group learning, layout of a school library, and an environmental improvement around classrooms is possible through such means as workshop. Taking the same approach to the children by seeking their opinions and enhancing their sense of belonging to new school will lead to more active engagement of the adults around them, and a qualitative improvement in the maintenance of school facilities can be anticipated.
