| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
(1)For two-way square contingency tables or multi-way contingency tables, we have proposed some models of symmetry or asymmetry; (2) we have given decomposition theorem of symmetry (asymmetry) model into two (or three more) models; (3) we have given the orthogonal decomposition of goodness-of-fit test statistic for the symmetry (or asymmetry) model; (4) we have proposed some measures for symmetry (or asymmetry); and (5) for continuous multivariate analysis, we have proposed the symmetry of multivariate probability density function, and given its decomposition.
