Outline of Final Research Achievements

I developed a seismic array analysis method, using dense active and passive seismic data, to obtain high-resolution crustal image. By applying the improved seismic interferometry to dense seismic array data obtained in the southeastern part of NE Japan, high-resolution whole crustal image, including the geometry of Moho, was obtained. These results show that my new seismic array analysis method is a powerful technique to obtain high-resolution crustal image.
