マルチモーメント制約を用いた高解像度数値解法の一般化と実用化

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は,マルチモーメント制約を用いた高精度数値解法の一般的な定式化を確立し,実用化に向けた数値モデルの構築を目的とする。平成24年~26年度の実施期間において,以下の方面に研究成果をあげている。
1)ノダル(nodal)型マルチモーメント制約高精度数値解法の一般的な定式化を提案し,検討を行った。数値流束の再構築に用いられる制約条件によって様々な新規スキームを提案できることを示すとともに,制約条件の数値的性質(精度,CFL安定条件など)について,理論解析と数値実験の両面から検討し,制約条件の選び方における指針を見出すことができた。
2)マルチモーメント制約条件を用いた3点MCV法にWENO法による数値振動を制御する定式化を導入し,MCV-WENO4法を提案した。この手法は4次の収束率を示しており,また不連続の解に対して数値振動を抑える機能を持っている。この手法は既存のDGに対するWENOリミターとは異なり,局所自由度を最大限に利用することから,コンパクトなステンシルで高次精度のWENO法を構築できる。衝撃波を含む圧縮性流れのベンチマーク問題による検証結果から,本手法は高い実用性を有することを示している。
3)Gauss-Legendre点を用いたラグランジュ補間関数に基づく流束再構築法(GLL-FR)を提案し,Discontinuous Galerkin (DG)法と同等の数値性質を有することを示した。その応用例として,すでに球面浅水波方程式に適用し,立方体全球モデルを開発した。
4)より広範囲の実際問題に適用するために,非構造格子への拡張を行い,任意形状メッシュ要素におけるマルチモーメント有限体積法のフレームワークを構築した。本手法は,計算精度・ロバスト性と計算負荷の総合的な面において,従来型の有限体積法及びDiscontinuous Galerkin法に代表される既存の局所再構築に基づく高精度解法に比べ,高い実用性を示している。
