面外拘束パラメータを考慮した照射材破壊靱性値の試験片寸法依存性補正手法構築

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は,き裂先端の面外拘束を表す力学パラメータT33応力を考慮することにより,照射脆化した材料(延性-脆性遷移温度域材)の破壊靱性値Jcの試験片板厚依存性を定量的に補正する手法を構築することにある.成果として,3点曲げ試験,板中央き裂試験片に対し板厚B0で得られたJc0を他の板厚で得られるJcに補正する,Jc = Jc0 x f(T33)なる補正関数fを導出した.この補正法はJcの板厚増に対する下限界値も予測しうるという意味において,最弱リンクモデルに基づく補正式Jc∝1/√Bに比べて優位性がある.手法の適用限界として,概略M = b0*σYS/Jc > 30(b0:リガメント寸法,σYS:降伏応力)も得た.ASTM E1921に従う破壊靭性試験ではM > 30を要求しており,この規格に従う実験データではほとんどの場合に上記の板厚補正法が適用できる.
そのほか,弾塑性有限要素(EP-FEA)結果に適用でき,Jcの寸法依存性を説明しうる破壊評価基準として(4δt, σ22c)基準(き裂先端開口変位δtの4倍位置のき裂開口方向応力σ22が材料強さσ22cを超えたときに破壊が発生するという基準)が適切であることを示した.この基準とEP-FEAを用いることにより,上記の板厚補正のみならず,Jcの試験片種類間換算が可能になった.この手法についても適用限界は概略M > 30である.以上により,所期の目的通り,照射脆化した材料のJcの試験片寸法(板厚,試験片種類を含む)依存性を定量的に補正する手法を構築できた.
本年度は,上記成果のうち,板中央き裂に対する検討(Theoretical and Applied Facture Mechanics誌に採択決定)を行い,また手法の適用制限(投稿準備中)を求めた.
