Outline of Final Research Achievements

To improve the accuracy of our automatic Japanese braille translation program for medical documents which are provided to patients in hospital, we added more medical terms to the dictionary, replaced the morphological analyzer in our braille translation program and revised our braille translation engine. In addition, we made an interface for our braille translation program to choose the correct braille translation for named entity, that is proper nouns such as personal names or organization names in medical documents.
