Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We investigated the efficacy of a brief sleep education training to improve subjective symptoms and work performance in workers. The program consisted of a 60-min sleep hygiene education (mechanisms of sleep and preferable life style for good sleep) and a 30-min cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (stimulus control, sleep restriction, and relaxation training) The present program significantly improved subjective QOL(physical component) and work performance 3 months after the intervention.
