| Research Abstract |
平成25年度は、Escherichia albertii の菌株収集、その解析等を中心に実施しました。また、E. albertii のうち志賀毒素 2f を保有する大腸菌による感染事例を解析、論文として投稿し、受理されました（Murakmai et al., Shiga toxin 2f-producing Escherichia albertii from a symptomatic human, Japanese Journal of Infectious Diseases, 67(3), in Press）。さらに、Escherichia albertii は野鳥（特に鳩）を宿主とするため、鳩から分離される大腸菌を解析し Escherichia albertii との進化遺伝的な系統差などを明らかにした論文を投稿し、受理・出版されました（Murakami et al., Isolation and Characteristics of Shiga Toxin 2f-Producing Escherichia coli among Pigeons in Kyushu, Japan, PLoS One, 9(1) e86076-10.1371/joural.pone.0086076, 2014）。

平成26年度は、Escherichia albertii の菌株収集、その解析等を中心に実施する予定です。また、当該細菌の食品汚染状況についても探求する予定です。

前倒し支払いを受け、研究を進展させる中で、当初予定していた動物実験が、諸般の事情ので実施できず、当該予算執行に遅延が認められました。
研究計画に基づき、菌株の解析等に支出する予定です。
