Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To clarify relationship between clopidogrel resistance and intra-stent thrombus formation following drug-eluting stent implantation, 152 stented lesions from 74 patients were enrolled and studied. At follow-up (mean 10 months) after stenting, intra-stent thrombus detected by optical coherence tomography was more frequently found in patients with clopidogrel resistance. In conclusion, clopidogrel resistance may be related to intra-stent thrombus formation after drug-eluting stent implantation.
